How long are botox and dermal filler appointments?

Botox injections take less than 15 minutes. Dermal fillers take around 30 minutes or less.

What are the possible side effects of botox?

Three percent of patients experienced eyelid drooping in the frown lines studies, one percent of patients experienced eyelid swelling in the crow’s feet studies, and one percent of patients experienced brow drooping in the forehead lines studies. Other possible side effects include: dry mouth; discomfort or pain at the injection site; tiredness; headache; neck pain; eye problems: double vision, blurred vision, decreased eyesight and dry eyes; and allergic reactions. Will I see Botox results quickly? How long do treatment effects last?

You may begin to notice results within 24 to 48 hours, with results lasting up to four months for moderate to severe frown lines. Remember that results vary from patient to patient though, so your physician will plan your next appointment based on your results and aesthetic goals

The most common side effects include injection-related reactions such as swelling, bruising, redness, pain and tenderness. These effects generally disappear within one week after injection. Other potential side effects can occur. You should discuss the potential treatment risks with your healthcare professional.

How long do fillers last?

Filler results can last up to 9–24 months, depending on the particular filler used and the areas treated. Filler treatments are temporary and so you will need re-treatment. If you decide not to have any more treatment, it will naturally be absorbed into your body, and the effects will fade away.
